for those who don't like comedy, here comes the tragedy! yes, if I didn't have a nice day like yesterday, I might have hung myself in the airport last night.
Last night, I went to the airport in a van which has only one guest in it, yes, that's me! I felt myself like someone very important! Even if I paid 5,000 pesos for taxi, I might not feel as good as this! I mean, 2,000 pesos in a personal VAN?! but that's the last good thing happen in the night.
I arrived airport about 12:30, and my flight is 3:35. so basically, there's no body around, not even LAN start to check in. so I took a nap in the airport. until 2:30, I finally saw the LAN crew out there, so I picked up my backpacks and went to check in.
and after I hand-in my passport and reservation record to the staff, he took about 10 minutes trying doing something that I can't see what it is. he looked puzzled, at that moment, the baggage man stood right behind him gave him the hint. he just pointed to somewhere on my reservation record, and I can tell something's wrong.
yes, it's wrong, it's totally wrong. the staff showed me the my reservation record, and tell me the date is wrong. "isn't it 29 today?" I said. "Yes, it is, but your reservation is 29 APRIL" he replied.
"WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I can't believe it so I check it again. and yes, on the piece of paper that I printed out by myself, it says the return flight is on 29 APR.
I FELT TOTALLY FRUSTRATED. I should've known that all the good things happened in the day is a sign. I am not a lucky man as always. all these little fortunate happenings just lead to a lethal crash.
and I even can't change my flight date there, because it was a special offer package. I NEED TO BUY A NEW TICKET!!! or I'll stay in the airport overnight, and came back a month later to catch the flight....
I am so so so so so upset. and now I am so DONE with Chile. I hope I can have a nice rest here in Santiago for the last 4 days in this country. then I will fly to LIMA, Peru. and I hope this is the last "suey" thing in this trip. (but I know you guys just don't think so.)
