Talking about Perú, you might think about Machu Picchu, or Nazca lines, or the ancient Inca Empire. You might not hear about a place called Haucachina before. neither did I, before I came here in Perú. it's just a small oasis in the dessert, but if you come to Perú, never miss a chance to do the sand boarding and dune buggies here!! it's way too fun!!!
Sand boarding is like snow boarding, but on sand, of course! and you can choose to stand on the board or crounch on the board, and then go sliding down the dunes, some are more than 100 meters high!!! EXTREMELY EXCITING!!! even you may fall in the sands many many times, and get sands in your mouth, nose, ears, everywhere, however it's all worthy!!!!!

this is the taken from the wall of a trendy hotel in Puerto Natales called "indigo". I like it quite much. This type of this alphabet looks like a upside-down "!". Sometimes the most simple kind of design just delivers more possibilities for you to imagine. That's the thing.
usually, when I don't have much plan about a city, I just walk around and take some photos, that's a good way to kill time too. there are more photos taken in the streets of Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas, check out photo album!

I feel so embarrassed to talk about this here. but since seldom of you really understand English, I'll just say it. This evening I've done something very stupid. and to talk about the story, we'll have to turn back time to this afternoon.
This afternoon, I was walking to Santa Lucia, the most famous romantic scene in Santiago. and when I was still on the way to there, one guy and two girls stopped me, and started to talk to me. I don't really know what they're talking about though. it was something about poetry and education problems in Chile. after we talked for 5 or 10 minutes, they finally told me what they want. they want me to donate some money to support their actions to approve Chile's educational problems. The guy even show me his student ID of University of Chile to persue me.
I don't really want to donate anything but they keep bugging me. and they say.. one dollar will be fine too. and so I think, well.. if one dollar can buy you off, that's quite ok though. so I said, ok one dollar. and I started to search in my bag. I have two wallets with me, one is with the cash (chilean pesos) and another is with the US dollars and credit cards. but I can't find the one with the dollars.... "HOW COME?" I think. and they are still around waiting like lions around a poor sheep, so I take out the cash wallet and gave them 1000 peso (almost 2 dollars) to pay them off.
